New Trend: Red Wedding Gowns?

Would you wear a red wedding dress? For brides across the globe, the traditional color of bridal dresses is something white. We know that white wedding gowns are exceptionally gorgeous and perfect for a bride to stand out on her wedding day.

However, the introduction of wearing red wedding gowns by well-known clothing designers added excitement in the wedding fashion industry. Simply put, red has come out as a surprising trend for spring 2013. After all, there are many brides who are willing to take a fashion risk these days.

We are aware that white bridal outfits are classic, timelessly elegant and clean-looking. But there are well-known designers who prefer to focus on red-hued gowns. For spring 2013, Oscar de la Renta, Vera Wang and Romona Kevesa flaunted a set of red wedding gowns that are obviously perfect for brides. The creations of Vera Wang and Oscar de la Renta are our favorite fashion pieces.

Vera Wang didn’t show off one white gown this season’s runway shows. She went even bolder with all red bridal dresses. Wang’s latest collection, which she translated in the runways as “beautiful dream”, is obviously anti-traditionalist and remarkably stunning.

Oscar de la Renta also rocked the fashion world with his fabulous bridal collection last season. The famed fashion designer showcased rich red gowns on the runway. Making a splash in the wedding industry, he also completed his collection with flowered gowns, bridal pantsuits and ivory classics.
