A Different Kind of Wedding Cake

Everybody wants a wedding to be remembered regardless of whether you’re the bride, or the groom. Of course you’d want your wedding to be very memorable, and for it to be so it has to be unique and different. There has to be something that sets it apart from the rest. Themed weddings are always the best way to go if you want a quirky and memorable wedding, and what other way to symbolize that uniqueness than with a centerpiece of a different kind of wedding cake.

In this article, I’m going to show you some alternative and unique cakes that people have been cooking up.
And if your big day is nearing, try to get some ideas from some of our finds.

Cupcake stack!

Who doesn’t love cupcakes? They make for a great pastry and snack, and apparently they can double as a wedding cake too!

Themed cakes

What themed wedding would be complete without a matching themed cake? There are a lot of quirky themes out there, and there are equally a lot of quirky cakes out there. My personal favorite is the calavera cake.

Double purpose Cheesecake

What’s even better than a tower of cupcakes? A giant cheesecake of course! What’s great about it is they can also double as a cheese platter for your guests.

Candy Cake

Have a sweet tooth? This cake is sure to make you revisit your childhood and make your wedding seem a little bit more innocent.

Provencal cake

This little known French confection is great for those light colored traditional weddings. Plus its light sweet flavor is perfect for dessert.
