Skin Solutions for the Big Day

Your wedding is most definitely one of the highlights of your life. You’ll want everything to look just perfect and pristine come the day you’ll walk the aisle. That’s one of the reasons why brides take months and sometimes even years to plan a wedding. Even then, you don’t know if everything will turn out perfectly. Nevertheless, what’s to stop a bride to doing everything in her own mortal power to make her dream wedding come true?

To achieve this, it’s really not surprising at how much brides-to-be can do to make that skin glow like it was from above.

There are lots of tips, tricks, and techniques that she can do. A lot of them can be easily done, but must be started weeks, even months before the wedding to make sure that come wedding time, her skin is as soft and as beautiful.. A couple of things to note though before you start any of these tips.

Don’t try them out if it’s your first time to try them. You wouldn’t want any surprise allergic or negative reactions that may come out right before your wedding. Also, consult with a dermatologist first before you try anything new on your skin to avert any accidents.

A couple of months before the wedding:

• Visit the dermatologist for consultation. Have your skin checked out for any signs of blemishes. This way, you can deal with any unwanted anomalies on your skin far earlier before the big day.

• Try to get the habit of going for a facial every three or four weeks. This makes sure your skin is perfectly healthy and glowing once you walk down the aisle. It also takes care of a lot of other blemishes like pimple problems, and wrinkles.

• Develop some skin care habits that you’re comfortable with. A nightly ice pack, scrubs etc. only have lasting effects when they’re done habitually.

• If you’ve done a peel before, right now would be the best time to get one. A perfectly done skin peel can leave your skin glowing for a long time, given that you take care of it of course.

• Avoid overexposure to the sun. Overexposure can not only permanent damage to your skin, but it could cause sunburns and unsightly tan lines as well. But if you’re planning on tanning, there are some products out there that can give you a nice tan without being overexposed.

• At this point you don’t want to try anything new. It might only serve to ruin the whole routine that you did months before.

• Also at this point, you should be having your last facial. By this time, the facial must’ve had its effects on your skin and should have taken care of the unwanted blemishes and pimples, so there’s no real need for them anymore. They might only make your skin overly sensitive.
